Dr. Erin Guest is a pediatric hematologist/oncologist who has dedicated more than 20 years to caring for children with blood disorders and cancer.  She currently works for a global pharmaceutical company as a clinical research medical director, developing new treatments for leukemia.  She has authored more than 50 publications and has been awarded public and private foundation grant funding to support her research.  She is committed to giving back by volunteering with community foundations that support families and cancer research.

 Erin received her Bachelor of Science and Medical Doctorate degrees from the University of Oklahoma.  She moved to the Kansas City area in 2004 and has lived in the district since 2015 with her husband and three children.  Her oldest daughter graduated from Mill Valley High School in 2024.  Her two younger children are actively involved in USD 232 choir and theatre programs, choir leadership, and student council.

 Erin is passionate about supporting arts, music, and science education and is committed to fostering opportunities for student-led leadership within the district.
