Chuck Neill
Veterans Law Judge
Judge Charles "Chuck" Neill is a retired Army judge advocate. In over 20 years on active duty, his assignments included two tours as a Military Judge, two tours as a Staff Judge Advocate, and a three-year assignment as a Professor in the Criminal Law Department at The Judge Advocate General’s Legal Center & School. He was assigned to installations around the world, including Fort Hood, Fort Bragg, Fort Drum, Fort Riley, Iraq, Kuwait, and Okinawa, Japan.
After retiring from the Army, he served as a Senior Attorney-Advisor to military judges presiding over the Military Commissions at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. As a Veterans Law Judge, he is responsible for presiding over hearings and issuing decisions on appeals pending before the Board of Veterans’ Appeals.
