Anh-Nguyet Nguyen
Anh-Nguyet Nguyen grew up navigating both public and private school systems, ultimately valuing the education she received from dedicated teachers. Despite language barriers, her parents offered unwavering support. Completing her public education with a dissertation defense from KU Medical Center in 2008, she pursued teaching as an adjunct professor while prioritizing her family. Engaged in her children's education, she volunteered extensively, eventually becoming a substitute teacher in 2020.
Anh-Nguyet continues her commitment to education by serving as an at-large representative on the USD 232 Board of Education, advocating for the recognition and empowerment of students, teachers, and the community.
